Citigroup Global Corporate and Investment Banking (GCIB) is a leading provider of fund services to the global investment fund industry, including mutual funds, closed-end funds, hedge funds and offshore funds. Citigroup GFS provides comprehensive fund administration, accounting, trustee, transfer agency and shareholder services for the investment strategies of institutional clients.

Incandescent was initially selected by Citigroup GCIB to establish a common set of data integration development standards and best practices within the Ab Initio software suite. Utilizing our Ab Initio Performance Methodology, Citigroup was able to quickly deploy several mission critical applications, while maintaining consistency across all project teams. Furthermore, application metadata was collected and consolidated in an enterprise metadata repository utilizing the Ab Initio EME. This consolidated environment provided Citigroup with the ability to develop metadata driven Ab Initio applications, such as the Financial Information Delivery application which allows Citigroup GCIB corporate clients to define and deliver custom fund extracts on-the-fly.
